Other than Grades Equal Money, there are many learning resources out there to help students--underperforming or not--to succeed. Many of these happen to be on the internet... and free! Here's a few of our favorites:
Kahn Academy has just about everything from lessons in math to videos on art history. This is a great resource for teens on many subjects.
Bozeman Science is run by a science teacher--Mr. Anderson--who makes series of videos about all things science, from essential biology to AP chemistry and statistics.
Quizlet is a website as well as an app, and is used to make electronic flashcard decks. There is also a large database of premade decks, so you can search for the one you are looking for. Once selected, students can use the deck to quiz themselves and others, or even play learning games with them.
SelfControl is a free, downloadable app for Mac, which allows you to block certain websites for set periods of time, giving you some valuable, distraction free study time.
